| About the Role : |
- This position is responsible for handling comprehensive accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting statutory and internal audits. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and proficiency in financial software and reporting. The Accounts Executive will play a key role in budget preparation, bank reconciliation, maintaining asset registers, and ensuring timely financial documentation for smooth organizational operations. Candidates with prior experience in the NGO sector will be preferred.

| Key Responsibilities |
Handling overall Accounting, Budgeting, supporting internal and statutory auditors
- 1. Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping
- ⮚ Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using designated Tally accounting software.
- ⮚ Process and record daily financial transactions, including vendor payments, staff advances, and petty cash disbursements.
- ⮚ Prepare and process payment vouchers and checks in a timely manner.
- ⮚ Manage and reconcile petty cash, imprest accounts, and staff advances on a regular basis.
- ⮚ Conduct monthly bank reconciliations for departmental designated bank accounts.
- 2. Financial Reporting & Analysis
- ⮚ Prepare monthly and project-specific Income & Expenditure statements for concerned departments and program heads.
- ⮚ Assist the Head of Department (HOD) in preparing data and schedules required for the annual Balance Sheet.
- ⮚ Prepare Utilization Certificates (UCs) for various projects and donors, ensuring all financial documentation aligns with donor requirements.
- 3. Budgeting & Financial Control
- ⮚ Assist in the preparation of the annual organizational and project-specific budgets.
- ⮚ Monitor budget vs. actual expenditure and report variances to management to ensure spending is within approved limits.
- ⮚ Verify and cross-check bills, invoices, and payment requests from vendors and service providers before processing payments.
- 4. Compliance & Audits
- ⮚ Coordinate and facilitate both internal and statutory audits by providing required documentation and support to the auditors.
- ⮚ Ensure all financial transactions and documentation are compliant with organizational policies and relevant legal/statutory requirements.
- 5. Asset & Inventory Management
- ⮚ Maintain and update the organization's Fixed Asset Register.
- ⮚ Assist in the periodic physical verification of assets and inventory to ensure records are accurate.
- 6. Payroll & Administrative
- ⮚ Process monthly payroll for designated departments, ensuring accurate calculation of salaries, statutory deductions, and timely disbursement.
- ⮚ Ensure systematic filing and archiving of all financial documents, including vouchers, bills, and bank statements, for easy retrieval and audit purposes.

| Desirable :Educational Qualifications, Experience and Skills: |
- ⮚ Graduate (B.Com)
- ⮚ Good Computer Skills (working on software, tally)
- ⮚ Knowledge of GST,TDS,ES.I.PF
- ⮚ Experience (2-3yrs) in the Accounts department (preferably in NGO)
- ⮚ Good Communication , analytical, multi- tasking and problem solving skills
- ⮚ Proactive behaviour and timeliness
