About the Department |
The Education Institutes (Women’s Training Institute, Ashoka Road and Vocational Training Institute at Dwarka) of the YWCA of Delhi works as a beacon of light imparting high quality vocational education. It aims at the empowering of women by providing them with the necessary skills and motivation to become self-reliant. It provides a platform for vocational education and training through various job-oriented courses.

Key Responsibilities |
- 1. Overall responsibility of smooth functioning of two Education Institutes.
- 2. Ensure that the operation are aligned with the goals & objectives of the organization & the Education Institutes.
- 3. Create and implement marketing strategies that align with the Education Institute’s vision and mission
- 4. Organize and coordinate promotional events and activities that attract admissions
- 5. Forging new partnerships, collaborations, affiliation
- 6. Introducing market relevant coursed, updating / upgrading current courses, introducing new courses aligned to courses with market demands
- 7. Responsible for developing and executing marketing plans that increase course awareness, admissions, and revenue.
- 8. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends
- 9. Networking with other Education Institutes, Govt institutions and other relevant stakeholders
- 10. Develop and maintain a strong online presence across various channels, such as website, social media, email, etc.
- 11. Manage the budget and allocate resources efficiently
- 12. Maximise the effectiveness of Dept. staff by developing each of their skills and abilities through the appropriate training, coaching, and/or mentoring.
- 13. Handle all student and parents and staff complaints and inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, following through to make sure problems are resolved satisfactorily.
- 14. Setting performance objectives for students and faculties
- 15. Developing and tracking benchmarks for measuring institutional success
- 16. Monitor all operations, working through the respective Department staff to make adjustments where necessary and ensure reporting department comply with.

Qualification and Skills |
- • Master’s degree with relevant industry experience (Education / Training Institutes).
- • At least 10 yrs of hands on experience of running an Educational Institution, preferably a Vocational Training institute or Polytechnic
- • Strong management, administration and marketing skills
- • Knowledge of vocational and skill training sector
- • Ability to handle faculty of different disciplines, organize, allocation of teaching time-table to optimize the available facilities, spaces and resources
- • Ability to deal with internal and external agencies e.g. University affiliation and Placements which are in integral part of our institution
- • Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
