ADMISSION OPEN: WORKING WOMEN’S HOSTEL’ FOR WOMAN FROM NORTH - EASTERN STATES OF INDIA , ADMISSION OPEN FOR SHORT TERMS COURSES

RDP is running a number of training and counseling centres in three villages and three communities of Najafgarh block of South – West district of Delhi. These communities and villages have maximum migrant adolescents without access to basic support for care and protection and without family links that we target under this project of Integrated Program. Most of these adolescents are working in vulnerable situation to make a living. The project was also supported the women of the community through various activities, which was lead to sustainable economic empowerment.

RDP recognizes the discrimination of the girl children and women in the area of:
1.Education
2.Health
3.Employment
4.Decision Making
5.SocialSystem

To implement this ideology into action, the activities conducted are:

v Educational Programme

v Training programmes on Health & Civic Education

v Nutrition Classes

v Celebrating National Events

v Exposure visits

For Developing entrepreneurial skills for girls , the Family Service Centre runs the following vocational courses -:

1. One year diploma course in Cutting and Tailoring
2. One year diploma course in Dress Designing
3. Six months certificate course in Beauty Culture
4. Short term courses in Knitting and Embroidery
5. A non-formal group for learning cutting and tailoring for six months
6. Remedial classes for girls & boys upto 8th class

3. Knitting garmentsunit

4. Pickle & Nutritive laddoos (Til & Nuts)
