The WTI was established in 1973 by YWCA of Delhi as a major project to impart technical education and training to women from all walks of life. It has been successfully conducting training for women in various professional fields. The Women Training Institute (WTI) continues with its mission to educate and train so that women can contribute and adapt themselves to the changing social and economic conditions.

WTI is governed by a Management body consisting of renowned and result oriented professionals from all walks of life. All matters relating to the Institute come under the purview of the Education Committee.

The faculty comprises of experts in the fields of Fashion Technology, Secretarial Practice and Post Graduate. They acquire training from industry personnel and leading institutes and companies to update their skills and information about the corporate requirements and needs.
