CENTENARY HOSTEL FOR WORKING WOMEN
|
Centenary Hostel for working women (CHWW) has been housing many working women since 1996. CHWW is located in the heart of Delhi and has a capacity to accommodate 167 women. There is additional accommodation of three Guest Rooms, having capacity for 6 women. CHWW's aim is to provide secure, homely, pleasant and warm atmosphere for working women of Delhi.
Admission Requirement:

Admission is given to any working woman earning minimum salary of Rs.10,000 per month.

Priority given to candidates who are new to Delhi.

Accommodation given for the contract of 33 months i.e. 3 leases of 11 months each.

Committees:
Hostel committee, comprising of Chairperson, Co-Chairperson, Committee Members and Hostel Coordinators, meet regularly for the smooth working of the hostel. Regular Residents' monthly meetings are held. They meet the General Secretary and Committee Members to share their experiences and concerns and suggest areas of improvement.
Mess:The Mess Resident Committee comprises of resident representatives who chart out the menu. A private contractor does the catering in the Hostel. Chapel:There is a Chapel on the premises where Residents can pray, any time during the day. Celebrations:Festivals like Holi, Easter, Diwali, Id and Christmas are celebrated with equal fervour. These celebrations give hostellers an opportunity to know other Faiths and believes and live in peace and harmony.
